Staying on Alpe D’Huez and conquering mythical climbs in this fantastic Cyclo Sportive!

Thursday 3rd July |
Alpcycles.com transfer from and to Lyon St Expury (LYS) airport (please see info below). On arrival at Alpe D’Huez, get settled into your room and meet the alpcycles.com team and your hosts for the weekend.
Afternoon tea/pasta and dinner at the chalet. |
Friday 4th July |
After breakfast today, you can spend the day getting prepared for the coming events!!! You will have plenty of time to set-up your bike, take a spin, load up with afternoon tea/pasta and relax.

Saturday 5th July |
Early breakfast.
We will head down to Bourg d’Oisans ready for the start of the race at 0715hrs…and then the fun begins. You will climb the Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Telegraphe, Col du Galibier and finally Alpe d’Huez. A total of 174km!!!! Feeding stations and mechanical support are included. When you’ve crossed the finish line (a champion), we will all get together.

Sunday 6th July |
Early breakfast.
So now for your second event of the weekend, Grimpe L’Alpe D’Huez. We will descend to Bourg d’Oisans to begin this Time Trial event ascending the 21 hairpin bend climb to the top of Alpe D’Huez. Get your personal time and soak up the atmosphere of this fantastic weekend!

For transfers from and to Lyon St Expury airport, please note the info below:
- The alpcycles.com team will be arriving at the airport at 12noon on Thursday 3rd July, so please ensure that your flight arrives before this time.
- For your return flight, we will be dropping off at 4pm on Monday 7th July, so please ensure that you have sufficient time to check in for your flight. We recommend that you leave give yourself 2 and a half hours.
- Check out www.britishairways.com for flights into Lyon St Expury.
We have not included registration into the events, to give you flexibility. So, whether you have already booked your places, or only wish to book for one event etc you can choose.
To If you have not already, to register your self for La Marmotte and/or Le Gripme events, go to www.sportcommunication.com and don’t forget to get your ankle strap, so you can get an official time for your events.”

If you have non-cyling partners and friends, or would just like to spend the weekend on D’Huez as a self guided cyclist (more chilled), we can accommodate you, so please get in touch.
