La Marmotte 10 Day and Weekend trips......nearly sold out!!!

Once again, summer 2010 will once again see our highly popular trips based around this legendary cyclo sportive, La Marmotte. It is rated as the hardest sportive in the French Alps, at a distance of 174km and 5000m of climbing, including Col de Glandon, Col de Galibier, Col de Telegraph and finishing at Alpe d’Huez. So be prepared for a challenge!!!

Both of our La Marmotte trips are FULLY-CATERED** so all you need to think about is the riding!!!

La Marmotte Sportive Weekend: Only 1 place left on this trip!!
4 nights/5 days - Thursday 1st – Monday 5th July

The price is £495, fully catered**.

After being picked up from Lyon (LYS) airport at the allocated time, you will be transferred to a great chalet on Alpe d’Huez, where you will be catered for throughout the weekend.

After a gentle spin on Friday to loosen those legs, collecting your race numbers and an early night, it’s all out for the big day on Saturday, so good luck!!

On Sunday you have the option to attack the Alpe d’Huez climb again, by taking part in Le Grimpe time trial, or have a more chilled day in the mountains. Your legs might need it!!

On Monday you will be transferred back toLyon (LYS) airport and head home, with plenty of tales to tell we are sure.

La Marmotte Sportive Training 10 day Trip: Only 1 place left on this trip!!!!!

If you want to acclimatise and get some altitude training in before La Marmotte, as well as the opportunity to ride in both the Northern and Central Alps in one trip, this is for you. You will be collected from Geneva Airport (GVA) on Saturday, and dropped at Lyon Airport (LYS) on the Monday after the weekend in Alpe d’Huez.

Saturday to Wednesday will be accompanied riding in this area and advice and support on achieving your goal event the following weekend, taking in such cols as:

• Cormet de Roseland
• Courchevel
• Col de la Madeleine………and more

On Thursday you will be transferred to Alpe d’Huez to join the above weekend and take part in the La Marmotte….so good luck!
